Someone dear to me has decided to end her journey of suffering this past weekend, leaving me with a heart full of sadness but also with a very deep and intense desire to live each day with love, gratitude, appreciation and passion.

Life is precious.

It is long overdue but nonetheless with great joy that I announce the winner of the “Birds In A Tree” kit by Madame Mim is Tracy, with comment nr. 27! Congratulations, Tracy. Your kit is on it’s way!

I would also like to take the opportunity to thank all you faithful readers of my blog. Even though my posts are far and between, it is delightful to know you are still here. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

On another note, my father is still in hospital. It has been almost 6 weeks now. He has just been operated on, again, a couple of days ago to remove all the “fat necrosis” liquid that kept oozing out of his wound. He has fought a couple of infections again however his spirit is still high. I really hope for him, and for my mother who has been alone at home all this time, this operation will be successful and he will be on his way home soon.
